Ronald Suchomski, 81, of McHenry, Illinois, passed away peacefully on December 30th surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 30, 1943, he was the devoted husband of Rosemary (Amann) Suchomski for 60 years and the proud father of four sons: David, Douglas (Stacy), Dennis (Irma), and Daniel. He was also a cherished grandfather to Ella, Grace, Will, Kendall, Nicolas, and Valentina.
Ronald dedicated his entire career to Oldsmobile, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his hard work and commitment. Beyond his professional life, he was a man whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, Ronald always knew how to bring a smile to those around him.
In addition to his love for family, Ronald had many passions. He was an avid fan of classic cars, always quick to identify their make, model and year. He was also a die-hard fan of the Chicago White Sox and Bears. Ronald also found great happiness in his Florida condo, where he loved to relax and create lasting memories with his loved ones.
Ronald’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. He will be remembered for his humor, faith, and deep love for his family and friends.
A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held in Illinois at a time and location to be determined.
Rest in Peace Ron, Pops, Grandpa, Papa and Pappy, You will be greatly missed, but your spirit and love will remain with us forever.
