Roy Lingle 83, originally of Harrisburg PA, passed away Monday morning September 16, 2024, at his home in Palm Harbor Florida. He has been a resident of Palm Harbor since 1987. For most of his time in Florida, he was a Certified Senior Advisor for Insurance and Annuities. Prior to moving he worked for the State of Pennsylvania for almost 20 years as a computer systems analyst. Roy was an avid golfer, playing often at Silver Dollar. He played bridge at the community centers in Palm harbor and Dunedin and enjoyed poker and pinocle. Horse Racing was a passion, where he won handicapping contests. In his younger years he played softball, baseball, wrestling and football. He was on his High School Student council and organized his class reunions. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Betsy) of 46 years. He is survived by his children, Jane, Linda and Roger (Renee), his partner Nicole Amrine as well as 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
