William Robert Harvey

HARVEY, William Robert “Bob” 79 of Oldsmar, Florida, passed away on April 8, 2026 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Paula McHughes Harvey and twin daughters Lori Kay Harvey and Mona Renee Harvey. Born on August 28, 1946 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late Robert Elmore and Daisy Travis Harvey, he obtained his Bachelor and Masters degrees from Middle Tennessee State University where he became a lifetime member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He had a 57-year career as a vocational specialist for the States of Tennessee and Florida and a consultant to the Social Security Administration. Bob enjoyed woodworking, watching NASCAR, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Florida Gators. His passion was “all things Disney” including cruises. Recognized posthumously by the City of Oldsmar for serving 38 years on the Planning Board, he was an influencer in his community and a friend to all his neighbors. He will be missed and remembered. A gathering to remember Bob will be held at a later date.
