William "Bill" Francis Andres Jr., 64, of Largo, FL, formerly of Plantation, FL died peacefully from complications of Covid-19 on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 33 years, Abby, as well as his parents, William Sr. And Helen. He is survived by his sons Will (Katie) and Taylor; brother Mike (Tracey), and many other family members who all loved listening to his long winded stories.
Bill graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and enlisted in the US Coast Guard. He served our country for 23 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3rd class. After his military retirement, he stayed home with his two young sons for a few years, before taking a job with the US Post Office. Bill had a passion for youth athletics and spent his free time coaching any teams his sons played on.
Bill was witty and could make anyone laugh with his stories, especially the ones involving Abby. He was generous and always giving of his time, wisdom, and resources. Throughout his marriage, he was often completing “honey do lists” for Abby when he wasn’t watching a sports game.
He, along with his stories and kind heart will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
