Charles Cornelius "Tim" Allen, Jr.

Charles Cornelius "Tim" Allen Jr., 84, of Dunedin, FL passed
away on October 31st, 2016. Born in Ballston Spa, NY in 1932, he
graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy,
Kings Pointe, NY. He served in both the U.S. Navy and Coast
Guard and was Honorably Discharged at rank of Lieutenant. He
went on to obtain his Pilot's License, as well as a High Tonnage
Captain's License. He ultimately became a Nuclear Engineer for
General Electric for 35 years, traveling around the world. Based in
San Jose, CA, he retired to Florida in 1994.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Cornelius &
Georgiana Allen, wife Barbara J. Allen, Son Charles Cornelius
Allen III, Brothers Lawrence G. Allen and James E. Allen and
Sister Phyllis (Allen) Hathaway.

He is survived by his son and best friend, John B. Allen (Julie),
Oldsmar, FL; Brother Thomas B. (Beverly) Allen, New Baltimore,
NY, Grandsons John J. Allen, Charles G. Allen and Darrell L.
Allen and Granddaughter Angela M. Allen, as well as many nieces
and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great- and great
grandchildren and many, many friends. Soar High .... Salute.

The Allen family will gather at a later date to celebrate Tim's
distinguished life and lay him to rest beside his parents and
grandparents in East Galway, NY.
