Dear Tracy and family, it tears me up to read about your son Drew. I nearly lost my son named Drew on Halloween night 2 weeks ago. Experimenting with alcohol and trying to fit in with "friends". My husband and I spent 2 long days in ICU not knowing the outcome of the first 24 hours. I can only tell you and other parents how tragic it is to see your own child like this and for you dear Tracy the unexplained thoughts and sorrow you are experiencing today. I'm reaching out to you and want you to know if there's a time you want to talk or need someone to listen, I'm here for you. I will do my best to be an advocate on behalf of my twin boys (Drew and Jack) and my 10 year old son that underage drinking is unacceptable but not necessarily stoppable. I plan on attending HOPE meetings and getting involved with some community outreach programs with my sons. In memory of your son Drew, I would like to make a donation in his honor to a charity/organization of your choice. 813-404-7055. God bless your family at this difficult time...

Although I didn't know Drew, I know what it's like to be human existing in these times hard to deal with. My heart goes out to you all and my prayers for peace remain constant. What helps me get through these difficult time is reflection on Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." When we have nothing more, we have hope.

We pray that you find a way to fill your hearts with the love and memories you have and will always have for Drew. A young life ended way too soon and we hope that you lean on each other and all your friends for support.
