Drew may you rest in peace. You are in my prayers. I believe you are with God and are safe. You were very passionate about hockey and I am glad to have coached you and spent part of your time here with you. Prayers and love to all who feel the kids of you being with us. Coach Hal

Dear Tracy and family, it tears me up to read about your son Drew. I nearly lost my son named Drew on Halloween night 2 weeks ago. Experimenting with alcohol and trying to fit in with "friends". My husband and I spent 2 long days in ICU not knowing the outcome of the first 24 hours. I can only tell you and other parents how tragic it is to see your own child like this and for you dear Tracy the unexplained thoughts and sorrow you are experiencing today. I'm reaching out to you and want you to know if there's a time you want to talk or need someone to listen, I'm here for you. I will do my best to be an advocate on behalf of my twin boys (Drew and Jack) and my 10 year old son that underage drinking is unacceptable but not necessarily stoppable. I plan on attending HOPE meetings and getting involved with some community outreach programs with my sons. In memory of your son Drew, I would like to make a donation in his honor to a charity/organization of your choice. 813-404-7055. God bless your family at this difficult time...

To those left behind to grieve:
Although I didn't know Drew, I know what it's like to be human existing in these times hard to deal with. My heart goes out to you all and my prayers for peace remain constant. What helps me get through these difficult time is reflection on Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." When we have nothing more, we have hope.

It's so dark right now, I can't see any light around me. That's because the light is coming from you. You can't see it but everyone else can.

A young life ended way too soon and we hope that you lean on each other and all your friends for support. We are here for you and cannot even begin to imagine your unspeakable loss but know that we are all hurting for you. Drew was blessed to have such a wonderful person for a mom and an amazing family. May God have him by his side until you all reunite.
