Behn, Rita, Ellie, Christy and Victoria,
I was very saddened to learn of the loss of Mr. Wilson. I know as a father, grandfather and friend he was unsurpassed. The time I spent with Mr. Wilson showed me an absolutely brilliant man who was unconditionally committed to his family and a rock for all lucky enough to be loved by him. Some of the wisest phrases I have ever heard came from Mr. Wilson. It would not be possible to overstate the respect he earned and enjoyed and I want to tell all of you how much I am thinking of you. I'm really sorry. Until we meet again, Mr. Wilson.

It was sheer chance I came across this and as it has been so many years, feel a bit intrusive even leaving a message of condolence. But as I lost my father just a few years ago, I still felt I should express my deepest sympathy to Jean, her sons and their families. There are no appropriate words when a loss is this deep, but know my prayers will be with your family. Love remains, long after this life has flickered out and your husband, your father, your grandfather lives on in the laughter you share, the memories you cherish and the love you carry within your hearts. Deepest sympathy.

Having worked so closely with John's son Behn it was a priveldge and honor to have spent the times that Allison and I had spent with Mr. & Mrs. Wilson. I know that Behn respected, loved and appreciated his father John's wit, charm and knowledge that was passed on to his children. John always treated my friends and family with a genuine and kind approach all the while subtly joking and making those around him smile. I'll miss our conversations about The Bucs and sports in general. John got a kick out of my passion for our Tampa NFL Team and I'll miss his gentle way of making fun of any less than ideal seasons we had.....May You Rest in Peace Mr. Wilson and May God be with You.

Jean and family...we are devastated with the news of John's passing. We will miss him. He was forever "popping in" and he and Gary always had great discussions after every shuffle game. We will miss the visits, the laughs, the stories and the kidding about the "Canadians". He will be in our hearts and memories forever. We send our love to you and the family.

Our most sincere sympathies. What a shock! We thought John would live for ever, he was so strong and always there. Our family has many, many positive and happy memories from the days and nights we shared as neighbors at the Point.
John will not be forgotten here.
We wish you all the best at this trying time.
With special thoughts to Jean, we remain, Donna, Bill & Family

We are thinking of you Jean and the whole family at this sad and difficult time. I have such wonderful memories of John at our home in Toronto, our cottage in Georgian Bay and of course your home in Florida. John's positive outlook in life, love of his family and friends and sense of humour was something I greatly admired! Love The Biehn Family Georgetown Ontario Canada.

John was a good friend and one of the first people I met at Briar Creek. His usual greeting was, "Hello, Kid," accompanied by a smile. John was always willing to jump in with both feet and help with every activity and project in our community. Both my husband, Frank, and I will miss John very much. We send our condolences and sympathy to Jean, as well as to the rest of the family.

John was a vibrant and involved member of our community and will be missed by so many of us. He was in charge of the shuffleboard here and gave me, a beginner, some very good instructions. He and Jean made suchj a handsome cojuple. My sympathy goes to her and their sons and grandsons.

We are so sad to have lost our dear friend, our shuffle coach, our band leader and most recently "daddy" at our BC party. He was a prince of a man and one in a million. Our hearts go out to you his family

John has been nothing but so kind & generous to me since I became his neighbor. He never failed to smile, wave, and offer kind words or to take my trash cans back to my home while I was at work. The world has lost a great man. My condolences go to his beautiful wife, to his sons & to all his grandchildren.
