Welcome to the memorial page for

Kathleen A (Pisarkiewicz) Rinaberger

January 10, 2016

Kathleen A Rinaberger (Pisarkiewicz), 67, of Oldsmar, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, under Hospice care at Manor Care Palm Harbor from Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Stephen, daughter, Kristin, son in-law, Donn, along with her stepsons, Scott and Stephen, Jr., daughter in-law, Sheila, and grandchildren, Georgia, Abigail, Joshua, and Jennifer. Kathy, Steve, and Kristin transferred to Oldsmar, FL on New Year’s Eve 1990 from a suburb of St. Louis, MO following her first diagnosis of breast cancer in 1989. She had a recurring battle with breast cancer in the early 2000’s undergoing radiation and finally a mastectomy in January 2012. Kathy was a real estate agent in St. Louis and retired in Florida from Met Life in 2010. After retiring she enjoyed Tai Chi, traveling to visit her high school friends, golf, and time with family. She was a doting mother and grandmother. She loved visiting her family and friends in St. Louis. One of her favorite places to stay was at the Chase Park Plaza in the Central West End. She enjoyed meeting the horses that Abigail rides and takes care of. Kathy was impressed at Joshua’s talent in music and one of the more recent highlights for her was reuniting with her granddaughter, Jennifer. She would always make crescent rolls and buy powdered donuts for Georgia, but Georgia says it isn’t the sweets she’ll miss as much as her love. She was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan and in 2015 traveled with long-time friends to a spring training game in Jupiter, FL. One of Kathy’s last trips was a road trip to Nashville with Kristin to visit her cousin Michael (Piz). Kathy recently spoke of wanting to visit the Grand Canyon. Kathy’s laugh is something everyone remembers and it was contagious. Steve and Kathy spent much of their time golfing when they were retired together. They built a loving network of friends while playing at Countryway Golf Course in Tampa. Kathy was grateful for the wonderful people in their neighborhood and she enjoyed seeing her neighbors while on her walks. She was overwhelmed with what a fantastic Thanksgiving she was given with family traveling from St. Louis to be with her. Kathy lived life with no filter, laughed loud, and loved hard.
