I first met Mary Murphy in 1986, when my family move in,across the street from her, and Bill. She introduced herself as Mema. I didn't know her name was really Mary until years later. After all, all the kids that lived on our block called her Mema as well. She instantly made me feel like family, like I was one of her granddaughters. All of my best childhood memories were made at her home. She was the sweetest, loving, caring woman I have ever met. She had a heart of gold. And I will never forget her, and she will always have a place in my heart. My condolences, love, thoughts, and prayers are with her family.

I look at aunt Mary's picture now and can't help but smile. What awesome Mom's we had. The Gardinier women were beautiful wonderful ladies. May you find Gods Peace, and find Joy in knowing we will see our Moms again.
