My most sincere condolences to the Burgess family on the loss of your beloved Michael. Losing someone you love is the most difficult thing a family will ever do. Our Heavenly Father knows the pain death brings and that is why at Revelation 21:3,4 God promises soon all pain, sickness and death will be eliminated. How comforting to know God not only has the power but the desire to reunite us with our loved ones by means of the resurrection hope Jesus spoke of at
John 5:21,28-29.May you find comfort in these scriptures and your wonderful memories of Michael.

To the family and friends of Michael Burgess, I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is the hardest thing that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. During this extremely difficult time, please turn to God for comfort and support. He promise to give your family the strength needed in order to endure this great lost. (John 5:28,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mr. Michael. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.

Mike and I were good friends, fellow coworkers, and most importantly, we shared the same birthdate. For many years we went on a week long vacation together to celebrate our birthdays. Including some great fishing trips.. Every future birthday for me will not be the same without Mike. I will miss him.
My prayers go out to him, his family, and to all of his friends. May God Bless.

Mike was a Kentucky Mountain Man. Big and strong but gentle as a Lamb. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten, because once you met him you definitely were never ever going to forget him. I am going to miss that infectious laugh and stories of that big teddy bear.

I miss you already Michael T. With a heavy heart and tear-filled eyes I reflect, reminisce and grieve. As hard as it is to say goodbye, it so easy to choose my favorite memory over the 33 years we were buddies -- That Spring Day in 2003 when you surrendered your heart to Jesus at VanDyke Methodist church! I got to witness your new tenderness and your love for Him change your heart of stone to a heart of flesh. Knowing you entered the dominion of light for all eternity gives me a sweet sense of peace. You already knew how to laugh, joke and play. Watching God teach you how to love was beautiful indeed. You trusted Jesus to take you to Heaven. Thinking of you fishing with Jesus makes me dry my tears and smile anew. Love your Beth L.

My Heartfelt love goes out to Bryan and Chris, Shay and Cassie. In my last conversations with your father he stated how proud of each one of you he was. The boys for being such good parents and supporting their lovely wives. The girls for all their accomplishments in school and for the wonderful cooking they did for him. He told me how much He loves his children and grandchildren.
He was still cracking jokes on our last visit as we reminience over our childhood together. Its amazing how much He remembered. He was a good father to all of you and I'm so glad I was a part of his life.
Prayers, love and memories you will hold dear to your heart.
