Jorge Luis Gort

Jorge Luis Gort, lovingly known as “Jorgie”, at the age of 25, was called home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on June 16, 1989, but was raised in Tampa, Florida. 

Jorgie was the greatest father, a loving son, unique brother and much more. He was known to create endless joy and laughter with his creative humor.  He had such a caring heart and always made sure you knew he loved you; even if you were mad at him. He enjoyed listening to music and spending most of his time with his loved ones, especially his son. His funny personality, headstrong character and handsome look is why he considered himself “Russo”.

Jorgie is survived by his parents, Ana Burgos and Jesus Gort, son Jorge Luis Gort Jr “Gordo”, sister Millie Ann Gort, three brothers Jesus Gort, Alex Gort, and Joshua Gort, his extended family and friends from every walk of life.

Funeral arrangements have been made and are as followed:

The viewing ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 between 5pm to 8pm at Holloway Funeral Home, located at 112 Bayview Blvd, Oldsmar, FL 34677.

Interment will take place on Wednesday at 2pm at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, located at 5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater FL 33670.
