Bolivar Marrero was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on June 15, 1939. When he was 20 years old, he decided to move to Vineland, New Jersey with his mother and stepfather. He worked for a textile company as a machine operator for several years before moving on to a lumberyard where he would later retire from.
Bolivar would move to Florida after his retirement with his wife Digna M Ortiz and his son Eduardo Marrero. It is in the city of Tampa where Bolivar would buy his house that he would spend the rest of his days. At his Tampa home he met many great neighbors to share his time and make memories with.
Bolivar is survived by his wife Digna, son Eduardo and brother Raul, as well as by family members spread throughout New Jersey and elsewhere. It is his family and neighbors who loved and will miss him most.
