Brianne Greeley Thompson was born on August 29th, 1980 in Carmel, NY and died on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 in New Port Richey, FL.
Brianne earned a full softball scholarship to the University of Bridgeport in 1998. She later joined the United States Army in 1999 and proudly served our country for 3 ½ years. Bri earned her nursing license while serving in the Army and received special honors for recovery efforts at The Pentagon on September 11th, 2001.
After being medically discharged from the Army, Bri worked as an LPN for local assisted living facilities in Tampa Bay. Bri always had a passion for her patients and the conversations they would have. In 2003, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Mackenzie who is now a student at FSU.
Bri will always be loved and remembered for her love-filled sarcasm, her twisted sense of humor, her strength & perseverance, her intuition that was almost always right, and of course for Brewster’s voice (her beloved lab).
Brianne is survived by her daughter Mackenzie (19), father Larry (64), mother Jane (64), and her sister Katie (37), as well as her nephews Cooper (8) and Quinn (7), all of the Tampa Bay area.
Bri’s celebration of life is being held at The Champion’s Club in Trinity, FL on Sunday, October 9th from 1pm to 5pm. (10132 Robert Trent Jones Parkway Trinity, FL 34655)
