James Edward "Jim" Munsie

Jim Munsie, of Clearwater, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones, in hospice care, at the age of 85.

James Edward Munsie was born June 7, 1940 to Lawrence and Florida (Painter) Munsie in Crab Orchard, KY.  Jim attended Norwood High School and went on to serve in the Armed Forces where he successfully completed Army Language School and became fluent in Russian serving for The US Air Force in Berlin, Germany.  Jim worked for Western Electric which later became Lucent Technologies where he retired from after 30 years.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Judy Munsie of 60 years; son Jay (Chris) Munsie; daughter Amy Munsie; grandson Kevin Munsie; brother Gary; brother Terry and many other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Florida Munsie; brother Larry, brother Don and sister Catherine.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, to be announced by the Family.
