Gordon J Miller

 Gordon J. Miller, 83 of Palm Harbor passed away peacefully after a long illness in his home on Monday, January 19, 2015. He was born in Muncie, IN on July 30, 1931 to C. Gordon and Rachel I. Miller. Gordon and his family moved to Florida from New Jersey in 1976. Gordon is affectionately known as “#1 Papa” to many. He was an avid sports fan and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities was his priority. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Linda Miller, children Lee Miller (Butte, MT), Jeff Miller (Riverside, CA ), Donna Miller-Dunham (Tarpon Springs) and Marci Slater (Tampa), brother Ron Miller (Titusville, FL) and sister Judy Alvarez (Sinking Springs, PA). He is the proud grandparent of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial service in Gordon’s honor will be held at 6pm on Friday, January 23 - Holloway Funeral Home, 112 South Bayview Blvd, Oldsmar FL 34677.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Suncoast Hospice (www.suncoasthospice.org) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
